In-person.

A space away from the everyday.

Face-to-face sessions take place in my counselling room in Rugby. Having somewhere separate from your everyday surroundings can give you space to pause, settle in and focus on what is happening for you.

You can see photographs of the room here to help you get a feel for it before arriving. If there is anything you would like to know about visiting, or any access needs you would like to discuss, we can talk those through beforehand.

Online.

A conversation from your own space.

Online counselling allows us to meet by video from somewhere private where you feel able to talk. You might prefer the familiarity of your own surroundings, find travelling difficult or live further away. It can also make counselling easier to fit around everyday commitments.

We can talk through the setup before we begin, including any concerns about meeting on screen. You’ll need a reliable internet connection and somewhere you are unlikely to be overheard or interrupted.

Walk-and-talk.

Side by side, with space to think.

You may find it easier to talk while walking alongside someone, rather than sitting face to face. Being outdoors can offer a different setting for our conversations, with space to notice your surroundings and take things at a comfortable pace. The focus is counselling, not exercise.

We’ll discuss whether this way of meeting would suit you and agree a local route together. Before we begin, we’ll also talk about access, the weather and how we would manage privacy if other people are nearby or we meet someone you know.

Home visits.

Time for you, in familiar surroundings.

Where suitable, I can come to your home for counselling. This may make sessions more accessible if getting to the counselling room is difficult, or if meeting at home feels like the most workable option for your circumstances.

We’ll talk through what you need and whether there is somewhere we can speak privately without interruption. We’ll agree the practical arrangements before booking, including any additional travel fee, so you know what to expect.

  • Usually available within approximately 10 miles of Rugby.

  • Suitability, visit arrangements and any travel fee agreed in advance.

Not sure which would suit you?

You don’t need to choose a setting before getting in touch. We can talk about your preferences, access needs and practical circumstances, and consider what might work for you.
